It didn't do much harm other then popping up at annoying times. I too accidentally downloaded Advanced Mac cleaner.

I just want it gone from my laptop and I need to find out how to make that happen. Did I do something wrong while I was trying to remove the program or is it just because the software is stubborn? Why is there no software removing option from the menus I see?Ĥ. How do I completely erase it from my computer?ģ. Could Drive Genius be harmful to my computer, Spyware, Malware, etc.?Ģ. Obviously, Drive Genius is not completely erased and I want to get rid of it.ġ.
Also notice a different popup, also in the third picture, mentioning the fact that I downloaded the program as a free trial. When I click this, I get a popup from Finder asking to destroy the folder. Also, when I right-click a file, there's a new option to 'Erase' my file. Guess what? It's Drive Genius! When I click it, I see the menu in the first picture. But after Drive Genius was supposedly gone for good, I noticed in my Menu Bar, a new application symbol.
I can't find any traces of it in Finder, including the original Application and files with keywords like 'DriveGenius', 'DrivePulse'. Cleaner, which usually gets rid of extra files from software I've deleted. I deleted it from the Applications folder and did a 'Full Erase' with Dr.
I was trying to do a task using some new software and I downloaded Drive Genius 4 DrivePulse ™ The product didn't work and I didn't want it on my MacBook anymore.
